Visiting Cebu, Philippines
For an adventurous traveler, he might just ask “How do i get to Cebu?” There are about thousands if not millions of tourist actually travel to Cebu just to visit the place of even just witness the famous sinulog festival in Cebu. And some of you might just be asking “How to travel to Cebu?”
Cebu isn’t that hard to reach actually since it is concidered as the tourism hub in Asia. There are lots of direct flights from nearby country going to Cebu such as Singapore, Hongkong and Korea. Some are connecting flights that travelers have to go to Manila International Airport to Mactan International Airport of Cebu.
If travelers are just in the nearby islands of Cebu, ferries are you best choice. Lots of these travelers are actually delighted when traveling by ferries for they can see the beautiful islands near Cebu and sea creatures. So get ready with your cameras.
And oh yeah, Cebuanos or Filipinos in general have a rare culture – Cebuano Culture. They may seem look differently but they’re not savages. In fact, Cebuanos has lots of technologies of their own. some of these are ATM [Automatic Tubig Machine], its like a vending machine that you can drop a coin and fill your bottle with water. that’s just one.
When you’re finally here in Cebu, taxis are everywhere. So you can just jump into one and tell the driver to where you’ll go. There are also jeepneys which is inexpensive and the great thing about jeepneys is that you can talk to people around. There are lots of these foreigners that walk on streets that they actually lived in Cebu for years. So enjoy in Cebu.
