The Wonderful Bantayan Island
Bantayan Island is an island in the Philippines located at the western portion of the northern tip of Cebu Island. It is politically a part of the Province of Cebu. The island can be reached by ferry from Hagnaya Wharf in San Remigio, Cebu, or from Cebu City, or from Cadiz City in Negros Occidental.
This is where you’ll probably spent your best days since boracay is too trite. The Island is just too small that you can tour around the three municipalities of Bantayan, Madridejos and Santa Fe within hours.
Renting a motorbike might be a good idea just to go around Bantayan Island, rent somewhere in HardCock Cafe. This is a popular Cafe, you can’t miss it. Also look for something to buy like soveniers or the popular danggit. The “Danggit Dried Fish” is so crunchy that most people in Manila are craving.
